Remove GG petition.
Ok well i've played MANY MMORPG's over my years of gaming and about 75% of them have used the poor program called "gameguard" for the anti hack protection, how effective it is can be compared to try to stop the human race from multiplying, it does nothing. Maybe updates the addresses onces a month and then takes the money from gpotato that we fund via the CS, which in term brings crappy new ways to make us spend our cash (t-pro). Well aside from me going off the rail there i'm starting this petition to remove gameguard, i get kicked off the game without warning 3-5 times a day, it's beyond a joke !
If i'm not being kicked off the game by this god awful piece of trash program then i'm actually being prevented from getting on, having to restart my pc 5 times to start rappelz once is becoming ever more tiresome and quite frankly makes me lose all motivation to play anyway.
So what problems do i have with gameguard?
-In all the game i've played that used gameguard (all being a good 50-75) it has continually caused problems, In other games it caused the frame rate to drop, in others it had memory leaks and in rappelz it disconnects people and fails to initiate.
Well i'm not having it anymore here's the official petition, i don't care about any contract you may be bound to with gameguard, end it and pay up a penalty for bad choice of anti hack protection (as if rappelz needs it, i've never even saw a rappelz hacker anyway).
I'll check this thread as many times a day as possible and will update the petition signing list regularly.
