Decorative Pet Name Changes Coming SoonI have mixed feelings about making the deco pet name change an item shop item.
While I understand that it is another revenue stream, I think it is annoying that an item that is originally an item shop item requires yet another item shop item to rename. That really undermines the utility value of my original item shop purchase (and yes, I did buy a deco pet in one of the original sales before the ability to rename the deco pet was removed.)
While you (gala) will need to decide if you are going to make this a purchasable item or not, and I fully understand it is your choice to make, I do think you increase the value of the deco pets to your customer base if you provide this as an in-game purchasable item. This would mean that you should be able to avoid dropping the price of a deco pet for a longer period of time. Conversely, in the long run, you might be able to get more money if you drop the price of deco pets but sell the name change in the item shop.
I do think that allowing one to be obtained via the achievement shop mechanism might be a good compromise.
